What makes a driveway a good candidate for coating?

Ask whether the quote includes removing existing sealer or paint, preparing edges, addressing repairable defects and managing joints. A coating does not eliminate the need for functioning joints. Confirm any separate walkways, landings or vertical faces you want included.
Outdoor installation also needs suitable weather and a clear access plan. Discuss where vehicles will park, how people will reach the house and the required curing time before traffic returns. We confirm scheduling for the actual system and conditions instead of promising the same timeline for every driveway.

Will a coating fix puddles or a sunken driveway?
No. A decorative coating does not correct settlement or provide a drainage redesign. Those issues need to be assessed separately before the coating work.

Not necessarily. Suitability depends on the entire system and its intended exposure. Sunlight, rain, tire traffic and surface texture need to be considered when specifying an exterior finish.
