THE DETAILS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE
A patio that fits the way you relax.
Morning coffee, outdoor dining and weekends with friends all share the same surface. The right coating plan considers your furniture, sunshine, rain and cleaning routine alongside the color you love.
Covered or fully exposed
A screened porch and an open patio can have very different conditions. Tell us how much sun and rain reach the concrete so the finish can be specified appropriately.
Color with context
Compare flake blends with your siding, brick, outdoor furniture and natural light. Physical samples help you judge a color more accurately than a screen alone.
Texture for everyday use
Discuss wet shoes, barefoot use and cleaning needs. Additional texture can help traction, but every outdoor floor still needs care when wet or dirty.
A fresh surface starts with the existing concrete.
Old paint, sealer, surface contamination and deteriorated concrete can affect how a new coating bonds. An on-site quote helps identify preparation and repair needs before a final price is set. Include close-up photos of cracks, peeling areas and the transition to your house.
A coating cannot correct a patio that slopes toward the house or has persistent pooling. Drainage, movement and structural concerns need their own assessment. Keeping those questions separate from the decorative finish makes the project easier to plan.
Choose a finish for your outdoor living space.
Decorative flake creates color variation and can coordinate a patio with an adjoining garage or walkway. Quartz finishes offer another textured appearance to discuss during your quote. The final system should suit the exposure and how the space will be used.
For sunny areas, ask about the exterior suitability and UV performance of the selected coating. Light colors can look very different outdoors, and no standard decorative coating should automatically be treated as a cool-deck product. View a physical sample and discuss comfort expectations before deciding.
Know what your patio quote includes.
Measure the main slab if you can, then note stairs, raised edges, landings and nearby walks you want included. Confirm preparation, repair allowances, finish selection and the treatment of existing joints. Comparing the same scope is more useful than comparing headline prices.
Before installation, plan where furniture and planters will go and how people will access the house. Weather, concrete conditions and the coating system affect the schedule and curing period. Confirm when foot traffic and furniture can return rather than assuming they can return at the same time.
Simple care makes outdoor spaces easier to enjoy.
Sweep away sand, leaves and grit, and clean spills with an appropriate cleaner. Avoid dragging heavy furniture across the finish. Ask which furniture feet, cleaning products and washing methods are suitable for the installed system.
Start with your location, rough dimensions and a few photos. You do not need a final color or exact measurements to request a free on-site quote.
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
Your questions, answered.
Can you coat a screened porch?
Yes, screened and covered concrete spaces are worth assessing for a coating. Tell us whether rain reaches the floor, how the area drains and whether an old coating or sealer is present.
Can you coat over patio tile?
Tile requires a separate assessment of the surface, adhesion and movement. Do not assume it can be coated in the same way as bare concrete. Send photos and describe the existing finish when requesting a quote.
Will a patio coating be slippery when wet?
Traction depends on the system, texture, water and contamination. Discuss the appropriate finish for your space and continue to use care on wet surfaces. No coating eliminates slip risk.
Can my patio match my garage floor?
We can discuss coordinating flake colors across the spaces. The coating specification may differ because an exposed patio has different requirements from an enclosed garage.
